  1. New term in relationship psychology called "The hero instinct". In short, a man wants to see himself as a hero. As someone his partner genuinely wants and needs to have around. Not as a mere accessory, ‘best friend’, or ‘partner in crime’.

  2. They have Experience - they know things only younger girl can dream of and these kind of relationship come with both partners already knowing what they want in a relationship.

  3. They dont have to worry about children or even kids still at home.

  4. She is the "secure option" Young men nowadays probably also recognize that older women are adept at diligently juggling so many responsibilities (career, children, housekeeping, fitness, finances, socializing), which makes them intriguing and attractive and a more secure option.

  5. He is attracted to her confidence and independence and less likely to play mind games. Mind games are very much the environment of the younger girl. Past 40, women are utterly upfront about where you’re going very wrong – brutal, certainly, but an easier way to live in so many other respects.

  6. I dont care what women's lib says, men still love a woman that can cook. These younger ladies, are not as domesticated.

  7. Older women are not as into "social media" as younger women and devote more of their time on their mate.

  8. Older women do not need continuous pampering.

Interesting point: The study, carried out by Allure magazine, found women are considered most beautiful at 30, show signs of ageing at 41, stop looking 'sexy' at 53 and are thought of as 'old' at 55. Whereas men look most handsome at 34, start to age at 41, stop looking 'good' at 58 and are seen to be 'old' at 59.
